Common Questions About Our Services
What should I wear to my physiotherapy appointment?
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated. For lower body treatment, shorts are recommended. For upper body, a tank top or t-shirt is appropriate.
How long is each physiotherapy session?
Session duration varies based on the type of treatment, but generally ranges from 30 to 60 minutes. Your specific treatment time is listed with each service description.
Do I need a doctor's referral to book an appointment?
No, a doctor's referral is not required to book an appointment with us. However, if you have a referral or medical documents, please bring them to your first session.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies based on your condition, its severity, and how your body responds to treatment. After your initial assessment, your therapist will provide a recommended treatment plan with an estimated number of sessions.
Is physiotherapy painful?
Some techniques may cause temporary discomfort, especially when working on injured or tight tissues. However, treatment should never exceed your pain tolerance, and your therapist will adjust techniques based on your feedback.
Are your physiotherapists certified?
Yes, all our physiotherapists are fully licensed, certified, and have extensive experience in their areas of specialization. We regularly participate in continuing education to stay current with the latest techniques and research.
When should I schedule my first appointment after childbirth?
We recommend scheduling an appointment within 4-6 weeks after childbirth. During this time, a woman's body is still sensitive and may require additional care. If there are no complications, we invite you right after your gynecologist visit, 6 weeks after delivery.
What does a urogynecological appointment look like?
Detailed interview, posture examination, checking breathing patterns, abdominal tissues, and scars. If necessary, we perform a vaginal examination to assess the strength, endurance, speed, and quality of contraction of individual pelvic floor muscles. Each patient receives personalized home exercise recommendations.
